IBFAN-GIFA has been involved for a year as an active member of civil society in preparatory processes leading up to the International Conference on Nutrition (ICN2) which takes place in November 2014. In order to ensure that breastfeeding protection promotion and support has its rightful place in the ICN2 outcome documents, IBFAN asked the WABA World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action secretariat to prepare a supportive statement.
